10 Little Ways to find more JOY in LIFE

    Finding little pockets of joy is important for us to focus on especially when it comes to our health and our well being. It is really helpful for boosting our well being and helping us to feel good and feel our best.
1. Dress Up
    Dress up a bit every once in a while maybe this is putting on your favorite dress just because. Nowadays with so many of us working from home, it can be really easy to not really get dressed or throw your hair up in a bun then stay like that all day which is definitely a time and place for many times. But take the time to get dressed, and put on something that makes you feel good and a little bit more ready for the day. These things can make a big difference in how we feel. 
 
2. Appreciate the Small things
    There are a lot of things in our life that get really overlooked where they are such a part of our life that we don't often think about them and take a moment to appreciate them.
 
3. Have Something to Look forward to
    Always have something to look forward to, it doesn't have to be big. It could be little things to look forward to either daily or weekly or monthly, little things you can just always look forward to something you like to do on weekends or anything you can put in your calendar to look forward to.

    You can enjoy exploring your home garden and the color green gives you joy and relaxation if you are a nature lover. Try starting with one plant that's generally pretty easy to care for. Houseplants are so nice to have when they are thriving and growing new little sprouts.

    This is all about surrounding yourself with belongings that bring you a sense of joy and things you love to make use of it actually means something to you. The items around you spark joy and such an interesting way to approach our belongings is with how much joy they bring us.
 
6. Focus on your Strengths 
    Try and focus on your strengths things that feel like you are really good at whether it's with your work or hobby or anything in your day-to-day life. That's where you are strengths are in. It helps to boost our level of confidence when it comes to carrying out tasks because we know that we are good at them. It will also help you to boost our joy in life when we are doing things we love.
 
7. Immerse yourself in the Wonders of Nature
    This might be watching a sunset or a sunrise or looking up at the stars at night or listening to the sound of rain out of your window or going for a walk through a forest. Just immerse yourself in some of those elements of nature and take a few moments to relish in them.

    Spend time with positive people who make you laugh or watch a funny movie. This is also really good for the soul and laughter is got to be one of the best ways to find some joy in life when we are going through some hard things.
 
9. Keep Goals Realistic & Celebrate Small Wins
    Setting a goal for yourself towards something that you want to achieve. Remember to keep them realistic and doable to celebrate the little wins along the way that gets you from where you are to where you wanna be. It is so easy to overlook those little wins that all add up overtime big.
 
10. Let Go of Comparison
    Comparison is the thief of joy when we are constantly focusing on other people and if they seem to be doing more than us or they are better than us like they have what we don't have especially in the world of social media. Focusing on them doesn't give anything other than the sorrow so just make a decision to focus and attention on your life.
